Bradshaws Farmhouse
Elegant, peaceful and comfortable, Bradshaws Farmhouse is a lovely Georgian (1757) farmhouse that overlooks open fields and distant hills. With four diamonds and a silver award, Bradshaws was described by the English Tourist Council inspector as "elegant yet retaining a warm family atmosphere".
The house boasts a mature walled garden where George Bernard Shaw once enjoyed a 'A Midsummer Night's Dream' performed on the grass stage. Original features such as a panelled drawing room and barleysugar staircase gained Bradshaws the highly prestigious grade two, star listing.
With a maximum of six guests, a friendly and relaxed ambience prevails. The working farm provides farm assured bacon and succulent sausages as part of their traditional English breakfast.
